Terms and Conditions

Snappy’s Power Washing Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all services provided by Snappy’s Power Washing (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the customer identified on the applicable work order or proposal (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). By signing a work order, issuing a purchase order referencing these terms, or accepting services, Customer agrees to be bound by this Agreement.

Scope of Services 
Company will perform the services described in the work order or proposal (“Services”) in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Services include, but are not limited to:

Pressure Washing / Softwashing
- Removal of common environmental debris (dirt, grime, algae, mildew, mold, bird droppings, etc.).
- **Not included**: Paint, plaster, concrete, adhesives, stickers, tape, mineral deposits, hard-water etching, oxidation, or any substance requiring specialty removal. Such conditions must be noted on the work order **prior to service**; additional charges and/or waivers may apply. 

Concrete & Hardscape Cleaning
- High-pressure or softwash removal of surface dirt, algae, mildew, and general dirt from age. 

- Does not include removal of rust, oil, or other staining that require separate chemical treatments to address.   
- **Not included and no liability**: Etching, spalling, cracking, or damage to cracked, poorly maintained, sealed, or previously coated concrete, pavers, or stone. Company is **not responsible** for revealing, worsening, or causing damage to concrete that is cracked, spalled, sealed, stamped, dyed, or in poor condition prior to service. Customer must disclose such conditions in writing **before work begins**.

Window Cleaning
- Company does not provide dedicated window cleaning services. During building washing, windows will naturally get wet and will be rinsed before and after cleaning to remove loose dirt and overspray; however, this is not a window cleaning service and we do not guarantee streak-free, spot-free, or restored glass.
- We are not responsible for hard water spots, mineral deposits, etching, or any existing or resulting stains on glass or frames.

- We are not liable for water or cleaning solution entering the building through open, cracked, leaking, or improperly sealed windows, doors, skylights, or any pre-existing defects in seals, caulking, flashing, or weep holes.

- Customer is solely responsible for ensuring all windows and openings are securely closed and in good condition prior to our service.

Gutter Cleaning
- Removal of debris inhibiting normal gutter flow. 
- **Not included**: Underground blockages or structural repairs. Company will notify Customer if underground issues are observed.
- **30-Day Guarantee**: If gutters clog within 30 days of service (excluding clogs caused by improper installation, underground blockage, or trees overhanging within 10 feet of the gutter line), Company will re-clean at no charge.

Roof Softwashing
- Asphalt Shingles: Low-pressure softwash process per industry standards; no high-pressure or abrasive tools used

- Asphalt Shingles: Cleaning solution kills 100% of organic growth (moss, algae, lichen) at the root. Dead growth may take up to 6 months to weather off naturally.

- Metal Roofs: Moderate amount of pressure may be used to remove growth. We are not liable for water or cleaning solution entering the building through openings, cracks, soffits, vents or improperly sealed roof openings.

- Customer is solely responsible for ensuring roof is free from leaks and in good condition prior to our service.

Vinyl / Exterior Siding Cleaning
- Low-pressure removal of common debris, algae, and mildew. 
- **Not included**: Heavy mold spores, oxidation, loose/damaged siding, or staining requiring restoration. Such conditions must be noted on the work order **prior to service**.
- Low-pressure is used, but **Company is not liable** for damage due to pre-existing poor maintenance, age, oxidation, improper high-pressure cleaning, low-grade materials, or improper installation. Customer must confirm surface suitability with manufacturer if uncertain.

Customer Responsibilities 
- Provide access to a working exterior water spigot with an output of 4 gallons per minute for the duration of our service. An amount less than this may result in a surcharge,.
- Ensure all windows, doors, and openings are closed and secured. 
- Secure or remove pets, vehicles, and sensitive items susceptible to water or solution overspray.
- Notify Company in writing of any pre-existing damage, leaks, sensitive surfaces, **or cracked/poorly maintained surfaces** **prior to service**.

Payment Terms 
- Residential: Full payment due the date of service.

- Commercial: **Net 30**: Full payment due within 30 days of invoice date. 
- Late payments may accrue interest and penalties at the company's discretion.
- Customer is responsible for all collection costs, including reasonable attorney fees.
- A deposit of 50% may be required for projects over $2,000. 

No Liability for Water Intrusion or Consequential Damage 
Company assumes all structures are properly constructed, sealed, and maintained in accordance with building codes and manufacturer specifications. **Company is not responsible for water intrusion, leakage, or any resulting damage** (including interior damage, mold, or electrical issues) regardless of cause. Customer acknowledges that pressure washing/softwashing involves water and accepts all risk of intrusion due to unknown or undisclosed defects.

Limitation of Liability 
- Company’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Services giving rise to the claim.
- No consequential, incidental, or punitive damages shall be recoverable, including but not limited to loss of use, lost profits, business interruption, or property damage.
- Company is not responsible for damage to low-grade materials, aged sealants, cracked or poorly maintained concrete, or pre-existing conditions revealed or exacerbated by cleaning.

Insurance & Indemnity 
- Company carries general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Certificates available upon request.
- Customer shall indemnify and hold Company harmless from claims arising from Customer’s failure to disclose material conditions (including concrete condition) or provide safe access.

Termination / Cancellation 
- Customer may cancel with 48 hours’ notice without penalty. Cancellations within 48 hours incur a $250 fee or 25% of quote, whichever is greater.
- Company may terminate for non-payment or unsafe conditions with notice.

Governing Law 
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state where Services are performed. Venue for disputes shall be the county of Company’s principal office.

Entire Agreement 
This Agreement, together with the work order/proposal, constitutes the entire understanding and supersedes all prior agreements. No modifications unless in writing signed by both parties.
